Request permanent deletion of your DriveCore account and data

Your right to erasure under UK GDPR

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data—including vehicle locations, trip history, geofences, and account information—will be permanently removed. Please ensure you have exported any data you need before requesting deletion.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone)
  • All registered vehicles and GPS trackers
  • Location history and trip data
  • Geofences, alerts, and preferences
  • Payment and billing information (from our systems; Stripe may retain records as required by law)

We may retain certain data for up to 7 years where required by law (e.g. tax, accounting, legal claims). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Before You Request Deletion

  • Cancel your subscription: If you have an active subscription, cancel it first in Settings → Billing to avoid further charges.
  • Export your data: Download any reports, trip history, or data you wish to keep before deletion.
  • Remove shared access: If you have shared your vehicles with others, they will lose access when your account is deleted.

How to Request Deletion

To request account deletion, send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your DriveCore account:

Processing Time & Confirmation

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days, as required by UK GDPR (Art. 17). You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted. If we need to retain any data for legal purposes, we will inform you and explain the reason.
